Understanding Credits

Credits are the currency for running on-demand security scans in WebVault Pro. Your account receives a monthly credit allocation based on your subscription tier.

  • Monthly Allocation - Credits are allocated to your account each billing period
  • 1 Credit = 1 Scan - Each security scan consumes one credit from your balance
  • Automatic Renewal - Paid plans renew credits automatically with rollover caps

Note

Basic monitoring features like uptime checks and domain health are included at no additional credit cost.

Credit Renewal & Rollover

For paid plans, credits are automatically renewed on your billing cycle and unused credits roll over up to a cap:

Pro Tip

Unused credits roll over to the next period up to your plan's rollover cap. Free plan has no rollover (resets each month). Check your account dashboard to see your current balance and next renewal date.

Viewing Your Credits

You can see your credit balance in several places:

  • Credit Badge - Displayed on each website's scan tab showing available credits
  • Scan Button - Shows if you have credits available before running a scan
  • Dashboard Overview - See total credit usage across all websites

Managing Your Subscription

You can manage your subscription at any time from your account settings.

  • Upgrade to a higher tier for more credits and faster renewal
  • Downgrade at the end of your current billing period
  • View billing history and download invoices
  • Update payment methods

Note

When you upgrade, your new credit allocation takes effect immediately. When you downgrade, changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
