Adding Websites

WebVault Pro allows you to add and manage unlimited websites. Each website can have its own settings, credentials, and custom fields.

1

Enter Website URL

When adding a new website, enter the full URL including the protocol (https:// or http://). WebVault Pro will automatically validate the URL format.

2

Add a Display Name

Give your website a memorable name that helps you identify it quickly. This can be the brand name, project name, or any label you prefer.

3

Set Environment (Optional)

Tag your website with an environment label like Production, Staging, or Development. This helps organize websites by their purpose.

💡

Pro Tip

Use consistent naming conventions across your team to make websites easier to find and manage.

Storing Credentials

WebVault Pro provides a secure way to store credentials associated with each website, such as admin logins, API keys, and hosting information.

  • Encrypted Storage - All credentials are encrypted at rest and in transit
  • Team Access - Control who can view credentials within your team
  • Multiple Types - Store usernames, passwords, API keys, SSH keys, and more
  • Notes - Add context and instructions alongside each credential
⚠️

Warning

Never share your master account credentials. Use the team collaboration features to grant appropriate access to team members.

Custom Fields

Custom fields allow you to store any additional information about your websites that doesn't fit into the standard fields.

  • Server IP addresses and configuration details
  • DNS provider information
  • SSL certificate expiration dates
  • Third-party service integrations
  • Internal notes and documentation links
